¡Bienvenido agosto! Un mes que sin imaginarlo se volvió muy importante para mí, es el mes que se concretó este proyecto que ya cumple su primer año. No cabe duda que el tiempo se ha ido volando (Habacuc 2:3).

Es por esa razón que hoy haré una referencia a los rompecabezas y cómo estos se entrelazan a los retos que resolvemos en nuestras vidas. De acuerdo a la definición en el diccionario es un “juego de habilidad y paciencia que consiste en recomponer una figura o una imagen combinando de manera correcta unas determinadas piezas, en cada una de las cuales hay una parte de dicha figura o imagen; las piezas pueden ser planas y de formas distintas, que dan lugar a una sola imagen.” 

Entre los beneficios que se adquieren al completarlos, descubrimos que en todas las edades son de gran ayuda ya que es un ejercicio mental pues activa ambos lados de nuestro cerebro puesto que aplicamos el pensamiento intuitivo, las emociones, la lógica, la objetividad y lo metódico para lograr nuestro objetivo.

Adicionalmente, existe un mejor razonamiento visual-espacial, prestamos mayor atención a los detalles para elegir cual pieza va en su lugar, mejora la memoria, incrementa nuestro coeficiente intelectual; mejora nuestra capacidad en la resolución de problemas así como eleva nuestro nivel de productividad, disminuye el estrés entre muchos otros que podemos encontrar.

Y haciendo una comparación con la vida, tal como ocurre con el juego, vamos buscando las piezas que pertenecen en el lugar correcto. Muchas veces elegimos la pieza equivocada y aunque pensamos que encajamos y que preliminarmente tendemos a creer que encontramos nuestro lugar; conforme avanzamos en nuestro caminar, nos damos cuenta de que no pertenecemos ahí y es momento de llegar al lugar correcto en donde lo reconocemos de inmediato que es nuestro sitio, porque las piezas simplemente descifran la imagen que vamos construyendo de nuestra historia (Juan 14:4, Salmos 56:3, Josué 1:9, Proverbios 1:7).

Como también es parte de la vida, pasamos por tiempos de confusión, no sabemos cuál camino elegir, pero tras un respiro, con calma, el análisis y sobre todo el buscar la guía correcta; retomamos nuestro proyecto donde las piezas van tomando su lugar y todo cobra sentido. Los errores forman parte de ese proceso, que nos enseña a encontrar diversas opciones para llegar a la solución de nuestros problemas (Salmos 23:4, Deuteronomio 31:8, Salmos 27:1).

Y conforme los años pasan, ganamos experiencia y confianza que nuestra habilidad en la resolución de problemas bajo la sabiduría, nos hace más ágiles en elegir las piezas adecuadas desde la intuición, la humildad, la paciencia, la alegría, la fe y la fortaleza de que todo obra para bien (Proverbios 2:6, Santiago 3:17, Colosenses 3:16).

Disfrutemos entonces como en el juego, que cada una de las piezas que compone nuestra vida cobre el significado que tiene. Aprendamos de los errores, de las lecciones, del éxito, del amor al prójimo, así como del amor a uno mismo;  y construyamos una historia que refleje a la creación más valiosa de Dios, quien hizo a su imagen y semejanza (Job 10:12, Efesios 2:10, Efesios 4:2,  Marcos 12:33).

Y para que el día que se coloque nuestra última pieza, con gozo y paz, recordemos que somos la obra perfecta de aquel que nos amó, listos para seguir nuestro camino a la eternidad (1 Juan 5:11 Juan 11:25).

Welcome August! A month that without imagining it became very important to me, it is the month that this project was completed, which is now in its first year. There is no doubt that time has flown by (Habakkuk 2: 3).

It is for that reason that today I will make a reference to puzzles and how they are intertwined with the challenges we solve in our lives. According to the definition in the dictionary, it is a “game of skill and patience that consists of recomposing a figure or an image by correctly combining certain pieces, in each of which there is a part of said figure or image; the pieces can be flat and of different shapes, giving rise to a single image.”

Among the benefits that are acquired by completing them, we discovered that at all ages they are of great help since it is a mental exercise since it activates both sides of our brain since we apply intuitive thinking, emotions, logic, objectivity and method. to achieve our goal.

Additionally, there is better visual-spatial reasoning, we pay more attention to details to choose which piece goes in its place, improves memory, increases our IQ, improves our ability to solve problems as well as increases our level of productivity, reduces stress among many others that we can find.

Making a comparison with life, as with the game, we are looking for the pieces that belong in the right place. Many times we choose the wrong piece and we think that we fit in we preliminarily tend to believe that we found our place. As we advance in our walk, we realize that we do not belong there. It is time to get to the right place, where we immediately recognize that it is our place, because the pieces simply decipher the image that we are building of our history (John 14: 4, Psalms 56: 3, Joshua 1: 9, Proverbs 1: 7).

As it is also part of life, we go through times of confusion, we do not know which way to choose, but after a breath, calm analysis and above all looking for the correct guide, we resume our project where the pieces take their place and everything makes sense. Errors are part of that process, which teaches us to find different options to solve our problems (Psalms 23: 4, Deuteronomy 31: 8, Psalms 27: 1).

As the years go by, we gain experience and confidence that our ability to solve problems under wisdom makes us more agile in choosing the right pieces from intuition, humility, patience, joy, faith and the strength of that everything works for good (Proverbs 2: 6, James 3:17, Colossians 3:16).

Let’s enjoy then, as in the game, that each of the pieces that make up our life takes on the meaning it has. Let’s learn from mistakes, lessons, success, love of neighbor, as well as love of oneself. Let’s build a story that reflects God’s most valuable creation, who made in his image and likeness (Job 10:12, Ephesians 2:10, Ephesians 4: 2, Mark 12:33).

And so that the day our last piece is placed, with joy and peace, we remember that we are the perfect work of the one who loved us, ready to go on our way to eternity (1 John 5:11 John 11:25).
